She is a seasoned political activist, and the current President of the National Organization of Andean and Amazonian Women of Peru (ONAMIAP) At COP27, Ketty is demanding that governments fulfill their promises of mitigation and adaptation to climate change. She would also like to see a focus on a global transition to clean energy, which Ketty believes is necessary to halt extraction in the Amazon.
